ROUTE 03 / CATEGORIES

Begin with what you actually need.

Category routes reduce search noise and give each product decision a clearer comparison set.

Footwear checks should begin with size references and outsole shape.

Apparel comparisons work better with shoulder, chest, length and fabric clues.

Accessories need scale, hardware and attachment-point checks before visual hype.

RESEARCH 01

Category-first research reduces noisy searches

Product discovery becomes more reliable when the comparison set is narrow. Footwear needs size references, outsole shape and panel alignment; tops need shoulder, chest and length measurements; outerwear needs closure, lining and seam checks; accessories need scale, hardware and attachment points. These are different decisions, so one generic checklist is not enough.

The category routes on this page open the designated live catalogue. They do not claim to reproduce Hacoo's app taxonomy. Hacoo's official site focuses on lifestyle inspiration and community discovery, while this independent page is organized around the practical checks a shopper can make before opening a listing.

RESEARCH 02

Use neutral wording and verify the destination

A category label should describe what a person can see without inventing material, authenticity or performance claims. ‘Low-top shoe’ is verifiable from an image; a claim about leather grade or factory origin may not be. We deliberately keep names neutral until a source page supplies evidence.

Before acting, compare the card image with the destination's current image and confirm the category is still correct. A successful HTTP response only proves the page loads; it does not prove the item matches. This distinction is important for users and for search quality.
